Joining Arup

Arup’s purpose, shared values and collaborative approach has set us apart for over 80 years, guiding how we shape a better world.

As a Project Coordinator (Electrical), you will play a key role in the successful delivery of complex M&E engineering packages across major infrastructure and airfield projects. Working closely with the Superintending Officer (SO), Superintending Officer's Representative (SOR) and multidisciplinary teams, you will coordinate project delivery, administer construction contracts, and ensure compliance with client, regulatory and quality requirements. Based in Singapore, you will contribute to safe, efficient and high-quality project outcomes while supporting Arup's commitment to engineering excellence.

The Opportunity

  • Support the Superintending Officer (SO) and Superintending Officer's Representative (SOR) in the administration of construction contracts for major infrastructure and airfield projects.
  • Coordinate design activities with consultants, contractors and project stakeholders to support successful construction delivery and project handover.
  • Review technical submissions, specifications and engineering proposals to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, design standards and project objectives.
  • Manage project planning activities, including scheduling, budgeting, progress monitoring, claims administration and site supervision.
  • Prepare project reports, technical correspondence and documentation while maintaining quality management and ISO compliance throughout project delivery.

You will have the opportunity do socially useful work that has meaning – to Arup, to your career, to our members and to the clients and communities we serve.

Is this role right for you?

  • A recognised engineering degree approved by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore (or equivalent), with at least eight years of relevant experience in electrical engineering and project delivery.
  • Proven experience in contract administration, including PSSCOC, and the successful coordination of infrastructure or building development projects.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory regulations, construction practices, quality assurance, project planning and site supervision.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary project teams.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach, supported by strong problem-solving skills, sound judgement, integrity and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering outcomes.
