The Opportunity

Arup Digital Products (ADP) are seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy, development and delivery of AI and Machine Learning capabilities across Arup’s engineering simulation software portfolio. This role will focus on identifying, scoping and delivering high-value AI/ML features that enhance engineering productivity, accelerate simulation workflows and unlock new insights from simulation data.

This is an opportunity to own the product vision and roadmap for AI/ML functionality end to end, working at the intersection of data science, simulation engineering and software product development. You will collaborate with product, engineering and data science teams in India and the UK, as well as customers worldwide, to embed practical AI/ML capabilities into established CAE workflows used by automotive and aerospace customers.

Is this role right for you?
 

We are looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience owning and delivering software products across the full product lifecycle, including discovery, delivery and launch.
  • Experience working with AI/ML technologies in a product context, with a strong conceptual understanding of techniques, data requirements, evaluation, validation and practical deployment considerations.
  • The ability to translate complex technical and CAE workflow requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and value-led product narratives.
  • Hands-on experience with agile development methodologies, cross-functional delivery teams and evidence-based prioritisation.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences, senior stakeholders and international customers.
