In this role, you will support the Operational Procurement team, within the Global Procurement function. Your tasks will include sourcing, generating purchase orders, order fulfilment, managing invoices and maintaining data within Arup systems. You will communicate with and influence stakeholders, providing excellent procurement advice. Building strong relationships and delivering effective solutions will be crucial.

Your work will enhance quality, performance, and efficiency, while reducing costs and risks. Sustainable development, decarbonisation, and our organisational values will be central to our procurement strategy and your role. Our values - Arup

The Opportunity

Focus:

  • Provide support across the procurement team with range of activities. 
  • Create and track POs in accordance with correct policies and processes.
  • Updating Arup’s systems with agreement information. 
  • Communicating with stakeholders to manage queries.
  • Request quotations from vendors as directed to ensure timely delivery of our requirements.
  • Liaising with the business to support your work as required and/or directed.
  • Ensuring the organisation’s procurement processes and systems are utilised effectively.
  • Ad-hoc administrative and data entry tasks.
  • Supporting sustainability into your activities to support our organisational goals in carbon reduction and social responsibility.

  • Assist with opportunities for improvements in cost, quality, service, risk mitigation as part of your work

Is this role right for you?

  • Familiarity with procurement elements and systems – Purchase orders, quotations, contracts, invoicing and delivery/fulfilment.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong focus on delivery and demonstrating the value of procurement in your work
  • Attention to detail
  • A range of qualifications will be considered for the role.
