Responsibilities

Undertake design of plumbing & fire protection system for a variety of projects (primary focus on Data Centre, residential, office, with future development in Transport infrastructure).

Most of the work will be as part of multidisciplinary project in collaboration with other disciplines in the office (particularly the Structures team).

The project may be located in Vietnam or elsewhere.

Role

§  Serve as Plumbing Engineer;

§  Directly involved in the preparation of study reports, design reports and technical notes;

§  Directly involved in the preparation of technical documentation from Concept through to Construction Stages – work may involve analysis, calculation, design, and preliminary preparation of BIM model (for further development by dedicated BIM teams);

§  Directly involved in preparing and reviewing specifications, responding to client and contractor requests as may be required;

§  Will be responsible for the design of Plumbing & Fire Protection systems for a wide range of projects, including Data Centre, commercial, residential, industrial and healthcare.

 

Qualifications

 

§  2 to 5 years relevant working experience;

§  From an Plumbing/Fire Protection background (as appropriate);

§  Bachelor degree in in Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineering, as appropriate;

§  Fluency in English (spoken & written) is advantageous; if not, continued development in English will be expected upon joining;

§  Experience in REVIT and Navisworks is advantageous however training can be provided;Arup is a global firm of designers, engineers, architects, planners, consultants and technical specialist with more than 14,000 people in 88 offices across 33 countries.
