The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Dublin office for an experienced PA to provide meaningful and proactive support to two of our senior directors. This role requires a high level of confidentiality, initiative, curiosity, individual awareness, and influencing skills, along with excellent communication, planning, and organisational capabilities.
As a Personal Assistant at Arup, you will:
Extensive diary management, coordinating travel arrangements, and organising internal and external meetings both in Ireland and overseas.
Identifying process improvements, managing upwards, providing ongoing feedback, and understanding the importance of confidentiality.
Dealing with clients, staff and other Arup representatives.
Liaising with staff and other personal assistants both nationally and internationally.
Organise internal team meetings, booking meeting rooms and arranging catering requirements.
Working on own initiative or as part of a team and deal with administrative duties competently.
Providing cover for Reception during breaks, if necessary, providing an efficient and professional first point of contact for clients and staff alike.
Formatting of documents produced by others to company guidelines and handling large quantities of information, often working within tight deadlines.
Does this role inspire you?
We're looking for someone who is passionate. These are the essential skills and qualifications for the position:
A professional qualification, e.g. Member of the Executive & Personal Assistants Association (EPAA), or a desire to achieve this.
Possess previous experience (+5 years) at an executive level and a proven record of excellent PA skills.
Fluent in English.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office software.
