Oasys is the brand through which Arup sells its market-leading technical software, developed by the Product Engine team within the Digital Technology Group. Oasys software is used extensively within Arup as well as being sold to companies around the world. The Oasys commercial team is responsible for the marketing and sales of these products globally and for providing customer service and support.

We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to join the Oasys Commercial Team to contribute to team goal of selling our commercially available software products. The role is wide and varied and covers structural, geotechnical and pedestrian simulation software. This is an opportunity for someone to join a successful and expanding sales & marketing team supporting the business development managers (BDMs) in delivering the team sales target. The role will have primary responsibility for directly contributing to revenue generation by managing the annual payment and renewal process, filtering and distributing incoming and webinar leads, and conducting initial sales prospecting.

The Opportunity

·         Business development and sales assistance, including weekly monitoring of lead generation activities and management of leads as they appear

·         Responsible for distributing incoming leads from the Oasys inbox and organising them into the appropriate subfolders and onto our CRM system.

·         Assisting BDMs in software subscription annual payment reminders and preparation of quotations when needed.

·         Maintaining records of leads and inactive accounts within our CRM system, as well as ensuring consistent communication through regular email check-ins or webinar invitations.

·         Helping BDMs with LinkedIn research and CRM account mapping for certain customers.
