The Opportunity 
We are looking for Mechanical Engineers of all grades to join a MEICA team in the North West and Yorkshire providing design and project management services to internal and external clients. The team is involved in a wide range of projects across the electricity, gas and water utilities as well as the renewable energy and environmental sectors. 

Working very closely with the other design teams you will be responsible for understanding and assisting in the delivery of exciting projects from feasibility, assessing and design assurance, front end engineering design through to detail design of complex industrial process plant and infrastructure projects.

Key qualities we are looking for in candidates include: 

  • Demonstrable experience working in a mechanical engineering design capacity in the utility sector with a client organisation, consultant or contractor 
  • Experience of digital approaches to solve our problems including the relevant current analysis and design software
  • A good understanding of CDM, and how we can help the health safety and wellbeing of those affected by our work
  • A practical understanding of how your designs will be implemented
