Mechanical Engineer

Our Boston office is looking to add a Mechanical Engineer to our growing office. We work on several unique projects that require customized engineering solutions like the World Trade Center, Northeastern EXP, Boston-Logan Airport, and Yale's Peabody Museum of National History. You'd be joining our multi-disciplinary design teams that support our vision of Shaping a Better World by designing new sustainable solutions to tackle our client's toughest problems.


  • Mechanical engineering from conceptual design through construction administration
  • Participate in mechanical design for projects such as Commercial, Academic, Hospitals, and Laboratories
  • Coordinating with multiple disciplines to ensure projects are delivered within budget and schedule
  • Presenting technical material in traditional and innovative ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences
  • Participating in local Professional Associations
  • Understanding trends and standard methodologies in the markets in which we work
  • Writing reports for internal and external purposes based on findings




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
  • 4 or more years of professional experience designing and/or construction oversite of building HVAC systems, including airside and hydronic system components
  • Experience with 3D BIM such as Revit MEP
  • Engineering analysis and energy modeling experience including whole building energy analysis, façade thermal analysis, and airflow modeling
  • Experience with load analysis software for calculations
  • The ability to prioritize effectively, balance assigned work, and exceptional organization skills required for our constantly evolving environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working


Preferred Qualifications


  • LEED Accreditation or WELL Certification
  • EIT/FE desired
