Join our dynamic Europe Region Marketing, Communications & Business Development (MCBD) team, playing a pivotal role in advancing Arup's commitment to sustainable development. You'll spearhead marketing initiatives for our fast-paced and critical Water portfolio in Europe Region.

The Opportunity

This isn't just another marketing role. You'll be at the forefront of Arup's growth ambitions in Europe, shaping how we communicate our expertise on water engineering and consultancy services, from designing and maintaining key water infrastructure services to advising on natural catchments and flood defenses, and other water management strategies.

You'll co-design and implement impactful marketing campaigns, directly contributing to building our brand and helping to win landmark projects. This is an opportunity to build your profile as a marketing expert in a fast-growing sector within a globally renowned firm.

As a Marketing Manager at Arup, you will:

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns to build Arup’s brand recognition as a leading water consultant across the region, with a particular focus on growth markets, such as Spain, Poland and Serbia.
  • Craft compelling content and manage diverse communication channels (digital, social media, web, case studies, thought leadership) to engage key audiences, raise the profile of our subject matter experts, and showcase our expertise.
  • Plan and deliver impactful Arup-owned events (online and in-person) and strategically leverage industry gatherings to connect with clients and partners.
  • Collaborate closely with technical experts, business leaders, and regional/global/local marketing, comms and business development counterparts to ensure strategic alignment and amplify our impact on significant water projects.
  • Champion brand coherence across all activities and support the development of strong client relationships through targeted marketing initiatives.

We're looking for someone passionate about driving the business and communicating innovative solutions that shape a more sustainable future. We also value:

  • Demonstrable skills and experience in developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns in a professional services environment.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills in English, with an ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels. Native Spanish would be advantageous.
  • Proven experience using digital communication tools and platforms for B2B marketing.
  • Previous marketing experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) or professional services sector is essential. Experience of water consulting sector highly desirable.
  • A strong teammate, with collaborative skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organisation.
