About this role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Marketing Manager to join our vibrant and enthusiastic Marketing & Communications team. As a Marketing Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans to enable Arup’s success in New Zealand. This is a part time 3 day / 24 hours a week role. You will have the opportunity to interact with our stakeholders by responding to client needs & adapting to market changes. With access to a global community of Marketing champions, you will collaborate with and learn from other marketing colleagues across the world.
What will I do?
- Contribute to business strategy and plans by enabling fact-based decisions and better understand market and client dynamics, current and emerging market opportunities, and risks.
- Develop the marketing plan for the New Zealand market to enabled the achievement of business objectives.
- Develop and implement integrated marketing and communications campaigns, programs and initiatives that enhance and extend Arup’s brand & reputation, client relationships and support business generation.
- Manage the Marketing & Communications budget in collaboration with the business.
- Act as a liaison between New Zealand and the broader marketing and communications team to ensure services delivered are aligned with internal client needs.
What will I bring?
- Relevant experience in senior strategic marketing roles within mature marketing and communications functions
- Significant knowledge of strategic and tactical marketing practices covering multiple areas such as marketing strategy and planning, market research and analysis, new market entry, marketing and communications campaign development, digital and social media marketing, account-based marketing, alliance marketing, media and government relations.
- Have a passion for Marketing & Communications and the significant value the function can deliver to business - enjoy looking for ways to improve and step up value provided to the business.
- Ability to remain positively motivated at times of significant pressure.
- Ability to build and maintain influential relationships with senior stakeholders.
