Major Electrical Projects Leader

For this role we are looking for a licensed Electrical leader with experience leading multi-disciplinary projects, including data centers, laboratories, rail, or commercial projects, in the capacity of a Project Leader.
This position requires a strong technical design and consulting background, combined with substantial client-facing, business development, and project leadership skills. This is a client-facing opportunity with the expectation to champion business growth and team expansion.
The Opportunity
- Leading electrical engineering design on large multi-disciplinary data center, rail, laboratories, healthcare, and commercial projects.
- Performing as engineer of record (or alternate)
- Ideate with design teams and be able to share expertise and strive for innovative solutions, incorporating sustainability-focused and decarbonization methods into building designs.
- Lead the overall design of large, complex projects coordinating large multi-disciplinary project delivery teams, facilities, and resources within tight time and budget constraints.
- Strive to be continuously winning future work for the team.
- Predict and plan for future resources, leading both technical and financial performance.
- Work to build and manage strong client relationships.
- Foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence while building a atmosphere of trust within the team and supervise current and future performance of a portion of the overall multi-discipline team by developing and mentoring the team for growth.

Is this role right for you?
- Bachelor’s degree; graduate degree a plus
- 15+ years of electrical engineering and project management experience within the data center, laboratory, rail, or property market in California
- Professional Engineering License in US
- Track-record of work winning and building and managing successful relationships with client organizations.
- Demonstrable commercial foresight, and leadership qualities
- Upbeat, hardworking, and inspirational leader, with outstanding people-management skills
- A strategic and innovative thinker with high level strategic planning skills and a keen insight to quickly understand the West Geography business environment and potential.
- Involvement in professional industry organizations would be well regarded.
