Lead Scheduler

You will play a key role in supporting scheduling and project controls for a major aviation infrastructure project. This position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to champion planning across design, procurement, and construction phases.
You will provide expert scheduling advice, identify risks and constraints, and deliver scenario analyses to support decision-making and change assessment. Your work will enhance client understanding of construction planning and coordination.
The Opportunity
- Develop project programmes/schedules from first principles for complex, multidisciplinary projects.
- Conduct regular programme reviews and updates; forecast time and cost outcomes.
- Prepare technical reports, including constructability and progress reports.
- Advise senior leadership on schedule impacts and mitigation strategies.
- Use visual techniques to communicate project phasing and constraints.
- Ensure KPIs and deliverables are achieved, including design and construction schedules.
- Represent Arup at internal and external meetings.
Contribute to strategic business planning and development of new service offerings.

Is this role right for you?
- Degree in Engineering, Building, or related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of project planning principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Proven experience with Primavera P6 and other planning software.
- Understanding of earned value management, change control, and risk management.
- Ability to analyse data and forecast outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
