The Opportunity
This is your chance to be part of the City Planning & Design team, an area that is dedicated, among other things, to the planning and development of cities, seeking a balance between the social, economic and environmental dimensions, and always providing the components of sustainability and innovation to all development proposals. You will join a dynamic team and will participate in all cutting-edge projects carried out in the Department.
As a Junior Urban Planner at Arup, you will:
Participate in urban planning projects, including conceptualization of urban development proposals, drafting and processing of planning instruments, processing of urbanization projects, urban feasibility analysis, etc.
Be exposed to strategic urban projects and multidisciplinary teams that typically include architects, engineers, urban planners, environmentalists, sociologists, economists and lawyers,
Have a better understanding of urban complexity in an environment continuous training.
Does this role inspire you?
We are looking for someone proactive and dynamic who is willing to develop their career in the Masterplan & Urban Design are. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Studies in Architecture or Civil Engineering or related studies
- 2-5 years of experience in described functions
- Special interest in urban planning, planning, processing, and land development
- It will be essential to have knowledge of CAD and ArcGIS
- Knowledge of Adobe package (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
- High level of English (C1)
- Concern for working on multidisciplinary projects and interest in sustainability and innovation
- High organizational skills
Bonus points if you have:
- Advanced knowledge in GIS
- Advanced knowledge in CAD
- Rhinoceros Knowledge
- Knowledge in communication and visualization of urban planning projects
- Master’s in planning, urban planning or territorial organization
