Our award-winning Business and Investor Advisory (BIA) team is a market leader in infrastructure and energy advisory services. We're looking for infrastructure and energy engineering graduates passionate about strategy and investments.

We work across international markets, providing strategic, and technical advice throughout the project lifecycle. With expertise spanning energy, transport, social infrastructure, and utilities, our work supports investors, asset owners, operators, governments, and financial institutions.

The Opportunity

You will be working on individual projects, typically comprising technical and environmental, social and governance (ESG) due diligence to inform lenders, buyers or sellers of infrastructure and energy projects. The focus of the technical due diligence work is to assist in the evaluation of potential investments by identifying and assessing technical, operational, commercial and reputational risks and opportunities.

We are looking for team members who will support the organic growth of the group and the expansion of our activities in the coming years. This provides opportunities for professional growth and rewards individual proactivity. A typical path includes a 6-month internship, followed by a tailored employment offer based on the employee's needs and performance.

As a Consultant at Arup, you will:

• Support senior and grow ownership of tasks from the start, with increasing responsibility over time.
• Conduct research and analysis, contributing directly to key project insights.
• Build deep sector expertise through hands-on experience and structured learning.
• Engage in client-facing activities in the medium term, working towards client interaction.
• Collaborate with teams both in Italy and internationally, working closely with technical experts and collaborating with colleagues based in other offices across global projects.

• A relevant engineering related degree.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Strong knowledge of both Excel and PowerPoint.
• You are fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Team player, good under delivery pressure whilst maintain quality outputs.
• Ability to rapidly switch from  projects in different fields.
