The International Mobility team plays a crucial role as an enabler of our strategic ambition, providing expert and efficient services and helping to ensure that we have the right capabilities in the right location, in the right quantity, and at the right time.

Reporting to the Head of International Mobility, this role focuses on optimising International Mobility Operations. Core duties driving innovation to support business and workforce strategies while ensuring legal compliance and the effective management of a wide range of vendors.
 

The Opportunity 

  • Develop and drive initiatives to optimise International Mobility operations, with an emphasis on assignee experience and simplification, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Inform the vision and roadmap for a transformed, elevated mobility proposition; develop and deliver initiatives to inspire change aligned to the roadmap.
  • Build relationships with business partners at all levels and represent International Mobility in relevant forums.
  • Use AI, automation, and digital tools to enhance ways of working and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Assess and refine the suite of International Mobility policies to ensure that they align to strategy and enable a diverse range of cross border moves.
  • Manage the vendors engaged to provide mobility support and compliance services. Refresh the vendor strategy and review performance based on critical indicators.
  • Partner with internal and external subject matter authorities to maintain compliance with immigration, tax, and employment regulations across jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Global People team to support broader people team priorities, including workforce planning and leadership development.
  • Assess and enhance the set of mobility programme metrics. Create and implement initiatives to course correct as needed.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex mobility cases, applying specialist knowledge to identify and mitigate risk in creating solutions.

  • Passion for quality and continuous improvement.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the international mobility lifecycle, including immigration, tax, and relocation logistics.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a track record of collaborating with partners at all organisational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and inspire change.
  • Proven people leadership, development and coaching experience.
  • Experience of handling relationships with external vendors and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to use insights to inform decision making and process improvements.
  • Familiarity with a range of mobility service delivery models and the application of technology within these.
  • Strong awareness of emerging trends in mobility.

Hiring Range: The good faith base salary hiring range for this job performed in Toronto is 127,000 - 160,000 CAD. Benefits are not included in the base salary range. Summary of benefits are included in this posting with details provided to applicants at the time of interview. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of insert location will differ
