The Opportunity
Arup is looking for an experienced Integrations Lead to oversee the design, development, and delivery of integration between Oracle Cloud HCM applications and Arup systems and third-parties (such as Benefits providers and Payroll bureaux) using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and other related tools and technologies.
This role will be responsible for the programme’s Integrations workstream
Manage the System Integrator (SI) delivery of their implementation services and scope for integrations.
Engage with integration owners across Arup to validate requirements, design and test outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the design and delivery of secure, scalable integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), APIs, and other technologies. Collaborating with internal teams, system integrators, and vendors to ensure integration requirements are met and documented.
You will translate technical concepts into accessible language for non-technical stakeholders.
Overseeing testing, quality assurance, and service transition activities. Ensuring compliance with Arup’s data governance and security standards.
Skills & Experience
Demonstrable experience integrating to and from Oracle Cloud HCM, specifically using the below technologies:
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
OIC Agents
APIs
Oracle Autonomous Transactional Database (ATP)
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including components such as Gateways, Virtual Machines (VM), VCN (Virtual Cloud Networks) and Load balancers
Understanding of Identity Access Management and SIEM integration.
Experience of integrating to payroll, both in-house payroll systems and external third party systems/bureaux.
Familiarity with security/authentication protocols and data privacy compliance
Understanding of Oracle HCM modules including Core HR, Absence, Recruitment, Compensation, Benefits and Payroll, together with the supporting technology and the integration touchpoints.
Basic understanding of Arup’s legacy systems - Oracle EBS, Ceridian Dayforce and Taleo.
Oracle Cloud certifications (OIC, OCI) are desirable.
Experience working with or for global SI partners, with an ability to challenge and drive delivery excellence.
Experience working across diverse geographic and cultural landscapes.
