The Opportunity 

We are recruiting nationally for town planners for our major infrastructure planning business. 

This is an exciting time to join Arup. We are experiencing significant growth in our infrastructure planning business so are looking for talented and experienced infrastructure town planners to join our new national team. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new chapter at Arup and help us grow our business. Across the UK we work on a wide range of infrastructure projects including energy, water, roads, rail, ports, airports etc from project inception through to delivery on-site. You will be a key part of the team winning new work and leading the delivery of a wide range of high-profile projects. 

Is This Role Right For You?
We are looking for town planners across the Planner, Senior Planner and Principal Planner grades. Key qualities we are looking for in candidates include:

  • Experience in infrastructure planning in one or more of TCPA, TWA, DCO or Hybrid Bill systems.
  • Able to develop working relationships with town planners and other disciplines within an organisation and/or external forums. 
  • Capable of managing a challenging and varying workload which can change at short notice.
  • Good team player, with excellent communication skills and open new ideas/ways of doing things.
