As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will contribute to the design and delivery of infrastructure projects by supporting the development of practical, innovative and sustainable engineering solutions. Working alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams, you will apply your technical skills across structural and geotechnical design while continuing to develop your professional capabilities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build your career by working on high-impact projects that help shape a better world.

The Opportunity

  • Perform engineering calculations and assist in preparing technical drawings, reports and design documentation for infrastructure projects.
  • Support senior engineers in the delivery of structural and geotechnical design packages, contributing to successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with BIM teams and participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings to ensure integrated project delivery.
  • Carry out technical studies, engineering analysis and modelling under the guidance of experienced engineers.
  • Assist with project documentation, quality assurance activities and ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards and project specifications.

You will have the opportunity do socially useful work that has meaning – to Arup, to your career, to our members and to the clients and communities we serve.

Is this role right for you?

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with one to ten years of relevant experience in infrastructure engineering; outstanding recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • A strong interest in structural and geotechnical engineering, with a passion for developing technical expertise across infrastructure projects.
  • Good communication skills in English, with knowledge of Eurocodes or other international design standards considered an advantage.
  • Experience using engineering software such as Robot Structural Analysis, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE or PLAXIS is desirable.
  • A proactive attitude, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn and collaborate within multidisciplinary project teams.
