The role will involve:

  • Engaging and collaborating with team members and other project disciplines to ensure designs and deliverables are fully coordinated.
  • Supporting with on-site monitoring and witness testing of ICT infrastructure and systems installations.
  • Checking own work in accordance with quality management systems.

Projects will be in the UK and abroad. The candidate will be willing to travel when needed; however, this role does not require extended periods away

At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive. Our strength comes from how we respect, share and connect our diverse experiences, perspectives and ideas.

You will have the opportunity do socially useful work that has meaning – to Arup, to your career, to our members and to the clients and communities we serve.

Is this role right for you?

We’re looking for a candidate who can demonstrate:

  • Understanding of one or more of the following technology areas: ICT Cabling, ICT Facilities, Wired Networks and Wireless Networks.
  • An appreciation of how ICT infrastructure and systems are integrated within the built and natural environment,
  • Working knowledge of the following software packages: AutoCAD, Revit and/or Navisworks and Microsoft Office.
  • Effective communication skills in English both oral and written.
  • An ability to write clear and concise reports, presentations and specifications in both technical and non-technical language, including preparation of easy-to-understand system diagrams and schematics.

.

Your technical skills and knowledge will be comprehensive and should allow you to comfortably advise our clients and develop design strategies with our internal teams.

You will be capable of working on several projects at the same time and have the ability to prioritise activities for yourself and others.
