The Opportunity

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and development of process systems with experience in the preferred and feed studies of process technologies.
  • Preparation of conceptual and detailed design packages and their evaluation. Process simulation, design and optimization of green hydrogen, green ammonia/ methanal and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Projects
  • Design analysis (applying first principle, if required) and review the process system with mass, energy and activity balances, process and hydraulic calculation.
  • Review / production of process deliverables such as PFD’s UFDS/ P@IDs, the basis of design, process description, equipment specifications, plant / item scheduled related to hydrogen, green ammonia, green methanol and SAf etc.
  • Safety and Fault analysis including SWIFT, HAZOP, HAZID studies, FMEA, FTA , etc. Development of process control schemes.


Experience and Qualification

  • MTech (Gate Qualified in Chemical / Process engineering with working experience in ammonia/oil and gas sector in the process modelling /optimization preferable in hydrogen/derivatives /CCUS/ PTX.
  • Candidate must have 5-7 years of experience in the O&G/ammonia industry/energy sector and should be proficient in modelling various industrial/ chemical processes and must be hands on the basic package incuding Aspen Plus/ Aspen HYSYS/ Matlab etc.
  • Experience in writing and compiling repots and presentation.
  • Knowledge of Python/R/Power Bi/tableau is preferred.
