The primary focus of this role is to provide hydrology, hydraulics, and drainage engineering services to clients of Arup Indonesia for infrastructure (highway, railway, bridges), master-planning/site development, and environmental projects.

The Opportunity 

•    Provide concept and detailed design work and reporting across a broad range of projects involving hydrological & hydraulic modelling for water resources planning, flood forecasting & management, drought management, storm-water drainage & management, water quality, climate change adaptation & resilience and related areas
•    Provide and manage design inputs, modelling and design outputs on projects, ensuring work quality is maintained at the expected standard
•    Develop/improve technical and project management skills on an ongoing basis to take on more responsibility and for career progression
•    Provide a key support role to senior staff members in all formal and informal training-related activities
•    Assist in the preparation and delivery of EOIs, proposals, and tender submissions and presentations

Is this role right for you? 
•    Bachelors’ Degree in Civil Engineering. A Masters’ Degree or working towards will be advantageous
•    At least 5 years of relevant experience in hydrology, hydraulics, and drainage design works
•    Has or is in the process of obtaining relevant licenses and/or chartered Membership of a reputable engineering institution
•    Familiar with Indonesian and International Design Codes
•    Knowledge of and technical experience in hydrology, hydraulics and drainage engineering and related areas
