About the Role

We are currently recruiting a Graduate Civil/Structural Engineer, who are looking for a challenging role in creative structural design within our Toronto Buildings group.

You will play an active role in all stages of our projects from feasibility through to completion and have the opportunity to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary design teams. You will have the freedom to improve existing working methods, by finding efficiencies in processes and applying new techniques.

You will apply and develop your engineering expertise and creativity to shape our projects. Through your appreciation of client needs and your attention to detail you will maximise value for our clients whilst minimising environmental impact.

Qualifications and Attributes


• On track to achieve or have achieved within the last 12 months a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with emphasis on Structures with a High Grade Point Average (GPA)
• A creative approach to problem solving
• Strong understanding of the principles of structural analysis and design
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English
• A well organized approach to your work
• Ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams
• Flexibility and dedication to the delivery of projects
• The ability to prioritize effectively, balance assigned work and exceptional organization skills required for our constantly evolving environment
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with colleagues and clients of all levels


• On track to achieve or have achieved within the last 12 months a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis on Structures
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills in French
• An understanding of 3D analysis modelling software such as Oasys GSA, CSI, LS-DYNA, etc.
• An understanding of 3D modelling software such as Revit, Rhino 3D, SketchUp, etc.
• Relevant work experience
