 The opportunity 

  • Support the Project Manager in coordinating project deliverables
  • Assist in the monitoring of the project scope, budget, and schedule
  • Project coordination between various design teams
  • Resolve design challenges with internal and external collaborators
  • Prepare client submittals, reports, presentations, analysis, guidelines, and project plans
  • Prepare meeting minutes, presentation materials, organization charts, risk registers, or other project documentation as needed
  • Support the creation of various management plans and reporting dashboards required for the project
  • Support the wider project team by driving resolution of client and collaborator comments
  • Develop, with the oversight of the Project Manager, change documentation or other contractual documents between the Client and the design team
  • Prepare, track, and resolve requests for information (RFI) in liaison with the design team and the Client to ensure the design team has the information required to complete the design
  • Support the Project Manager with regular and monthly project reporting, as required
  • Support and coordinate the delivery of high quality, on time deliverables that meet the project intent and client needs
  • Develop broad technical knowledge and awareness to facilitate management of technical teams
  • Apply project management techniques, systems, procedures, and tools to meet project objectives

Qualifications:

Required:   

  • Bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in the fields of engineering, architecture, project management, construction management, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Interest in infrastructure and buildings projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Professional demeanor
  • Good interpersonal skills needed for team-based working
  • Excellent planning, organization and workload prioritization skills required for our fast-paced environment
  • Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to address new challenges
  • Able to work independently and as part of a large team
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future

Preferred:

  • Sound knowledge of engineering fundamentals   
  • Curiosity about sustainable development and climate change
  • Curiosity about PMP certification in the future

Calgary Hiring Range – The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Montreal is $61, 000 to $70, 500 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Toronto will differ.
