The Opportunity
You will be worked on defined tasks relating to your appointed Business Unit with limited supervision.  
We encourage our graduates to assist more senior members of staff with the analysis of information, production of designs and computations, preparation of specifications, proposals and other documentation under supervision.  In achieving this you will apply a variety of standard methods and techniques in solving problems. And you will be accountable for submitting a high quality of work that is accurate of which may take the form of routine letters; reports; standard documentation; presentations, etc.

Is this role right for you? 
You should be a well motivated and creative Graduate who wants to work in Mechanical Engineering or Design Consultancies in the following discipline:
•    Mechanical Engineering

We’re looking for people who able to design and deliver engineering solutions on projects, ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines is essential, equip with excellent planning, organisation and communications skills in both English and Thai. 
As a Graduate, you will aim to develop key knowledge and skills that will allow you to provide a high quality of consultant services.  This may take the form of undertaking relevant modelling, analytical research, and design work within your relevant business area.  There will be a structured career plan and development program to assist you in attaining the desired level of knowledge and skills. This position reports directly to the MEP Team Leader and the Mechanical leader on day to day work.

Responsibilities:
•    As a Graduate you will work on defined tasks relating to your appointed Business Unit with limited supervision. 
•    You will assist more senior members of staff with the analysis of information, production of designs and computations.
•    You will assist in the preparation of specifications, proposals and other documentation under supervision.  In achieving this you will apply a variety of standard methods and techniques in solving problems.
•    You will be accountable for submitting a high quality of work that is accurate of which may take the form of routine letters; reports; standard documentation; presentations, etc.
You will be accountable for providing all information in an articulate and organized manner in a within the agreed timeframes.
Specific tasks may include the following:
•    Air conditioning and mechanical ventilation services 
o    Type of air conditioning system
o    Heat Load Calculations 
o    Pressure drops calculations (air and water)
o    Ductwork design
o    Chilled water design
•    Familiarize with authority requirements, codes, standards and regulation. 
•    Coordination with other disciplines within Arup.
•    Work in multi-disciplinary teams with clients, architects, structural engineers and other consultants.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
•    Able to design and deliver engineering solutions on projects.
•    Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines is essential.
•    Excellent planning and organization skills.
•    Excellent communications skills. Both English and Thai.
