As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will work in a collaborative environment with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams, gaining exposure to a variety of landmark projects across sectors – from laboratories and data centres to museums and residential buildings. You'll be supported by experienced mentors and benefit from structured training opportunities to grow your technical and professional skills.
As a Graduate Electrical Engineer at Arup, you will:
- Assist in the design of electrical systems for high-impact buildings, focusing on power, lighting, telecoms, fire alarm, and security systems.
- Support calculations and modelling using software tools such as BIM/CAD and power distribution simulation tools.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, public health, and fire safety engineers to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Participate in technical reviews, site visits, and project coordination meetings.
- Contribute to sustainable design practices and carbon reduction efforts in every project phase.

- A completed Level 4 MBO or full HBO in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
