Join our Civil Engineering team in Copenhagen and contribute to impactful projects across Denmark and Europe.
The civil engineering team in Copenhagen provides a range of design services on projects in both the public and private sectors. We work very closely with other Arup teams as part of Arup-wide multi-disciplinary teams in Denmark and across the World.
We deliver projects primarily in Science Industry and Technology sectors, and Transportation Infrastructure.
This role provides an excellent opportunity for career development.
As a Civil Design Engineer at Arup, you will:
- Assist on producing drawings, reports and specifications, reporting to senior engineers and project managers.
- Coordinate through the design process, integrating with associated design requirements from various design partners.
- Work independently and be responsible for checking the quality and accuracy of your own work.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about furthering their career and gain invaluable experience within a friendly working environment. These are the essential skills and qualifications for the position:
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering
- Experience with Microstation/Civil 3D/Revit and other BIM software.
- Desire to work on a variety of projects including Science and Industry projects and Transportation projects.
- Fluent in Danish, both Spoken and Written
- Fluent in English, both Spoken and Written
We also value:
- Civil engineering technical design skills in the area of surface water, foul, water, roads and carparks, earthworks, Electrical and Fibre utilities.
- Desire to work within teams in a digital/BIM environment, co-ordinating civil services with those of other disciplines.
- Desire to use Navisworks.
- Desire to increase knowledge of Hydraulic Modelling software.
