Graduate Acoustic Designer

Responsibilities

1.    Assist more senior members of staff with the analysis of information, production of designs and computations.

2.    Assist in the preparation of specifications, proposals and other documentation under supervision. In achieving this you will apply a variety of standard methods and techniques in solving problems.

3.    Accountable for submitting a high quality of work that is accurate of which may take the form of routine letters; reports; standard documentation; presentations, etc.

4.    Accountable for providing all information in an articulate and organised manner in a within the agreed timeframes.

Qualifications/Experience:

1.    Bachelor degree or above in Acoustics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Heating and Ventilation Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design and other related disciplines.

2.    Capable of providing concept design and sketching capability.

3.    Fluent in English reading, writing, speaking and listening.

4.    Be able to design and deliver solutions on projects.

5.    Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines is essential; 6.Excellent planning and organisation skills.

7.    Excellent communications skills.

8.    Capable of using professional software, familiar with AUTOCAD, Rhino and SketchUp.

9.    Familiar with acoustic software such as EASE, Odean, CATT, Soundplan and CadnaA.
