About the role:

As a Geotechnical engineer, you will need to provide Geotechnical consulting engineering services to clients of Arup Malaysia.

  Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

  • You will be required to work with minimal supervision in your area of responsibility, and you may be accountable for defined parts of design projects;
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of your work;

  • You will represent your team or area at internal meetings, and you may be responsible for organizing events, activities or small internal business projects;


About You:

  • Recognized relevant tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or similar area;
  • A least 2 years of industry experience in Geotechnical within a consulting business environment;
  • Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines – and Arup’s related procedures including OH&S.
  • Supporting the firm’s compliance in maintaining ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 requirement
  • Other relevant duties as required.
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments;
  • Effective written communication and report writing skills
  • Ability to remain positively motivated and foster team spirit at times of Significant pressure, including assisting others to meet deadlines
  • Desire to excel.
