Primary Focus
As a Fusion Business Analyst (Technical), you’ll play a key role in analysing processes, gathering requirements, and identifying opportunities for technology improvements. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across teams to ensure technical designs align with business goals and deliver measurable value.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a global programme that impacts how we work, collaborate, and support our people.
You’ll be involved in a wide range of activities, including collaborating with technical leads, architects, and programme managers to finalise designs and assess impacts. Supporting testing phases, including script creation, execution, and defect resolution. Documenting detailed technical and system requirements across Oracle Cloud modules (HCM, ORC, Compensation, Benefits, Absence).
You will be required to participate in design workshops and translating complex technical conversations into accessible language for non-technical stakeholders. Creating process flows, system diagrams, data models, and use cases. Supporting integration and data migration teams with specifications and validation.

Experience & Knowledge
Experience supporting technical workstreams on global cloud implementations, especially integrations and data migration.
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud HCM modules or similar platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP).
Understanding of Identity Access Management and architectural design principles.
Experience working across diverse geographic and cultural landscapes.
Knowledge of legacy systems such as Oracle EBS and Taleo is a plus.
Skills & Attributes
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborative mindset, embracing diversity and inclusion.
Confidence to ask questions and seek clarity.
Ability to stay effective and motivated under pressure.
Self-awareness and accountability in team environments.
Skilled in process mapping tools like MS Visio.
Arup offers a flexible working environment. As part of a global team, this role has the potential requirement to attend early morning / evening meetings and travel both within the UK and internationally.
