The Opportunity

Shape the future of finance at Arup...

We’re seeking a dynamic Finance PMO Lead to drive excellence in project governance and delivery across our global Finance Transformation Programme. This is a senior leadership role, reporting to the Group Head of Finance Programmes, where you’ll set the strategic direction for the Finance PMO and lead a high-performing team of project managers, business analysts, and technical experts. Join us and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of global finance at Arup.

The Finance PMO Lead will apply their expertise in the following areas of work:

 

  • Define and execute the Finance PMO strategy, frameworks, and governance.

 

  • Lead and develop a specialist team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

 

  • Oversee a portfolio of global finance projects, ensuring alignment with Arup’s five-year strategy.

 

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver complex change initiatives on time and within budget.

 

  • Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and best-in-class methodologies.

 

 

Is this role right for you?

We seek senior PMO leadership professionals with the following skills and expertise:

 

  • Proven experience leading PMOs in complex, international environments.

 

  • Expertise in end-to-end programme and project delivery, including finance systems.

 

  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

 

  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to manage competing priorities.

 

  • Proficiency with PM tools (e.g., MS Project, Power BI).
