As part of our global Façades team, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-performance, aesthetically appealing, and durable building envelope solutions. We work closely with clients and architects to develop creative and sustainable designs that push the boundaries of innovation. Our team’s expertise spans from conceptual design to construction, ensuring the successful realization of some of the world’s most iconic projects.
This is your chance to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy, working on some of the most exciting and challenging projects both in Ireland and abroad. As a Façade Consultant at Arup, you will:
· Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to develop innovative façade design solutions, from concept to detailed design and construction.
· Lead the design and specification of high-quality façades, ensuring they meet both aesthetic and performance requirements.
· Oversee the technical and financial aspects of façade projects, delivering on time and within budget.
· Work closely with contractors and suppliers during the installation phase, ensuring the successful execution of your designs on site.
· Contribute to the development of new façade technologies and sustainable design approaches, helping Arup continue to lead in this field.
Does this role inspire you?
We are looking for someone who is passionate about innovative façade design and sustainable building solutions. We also value:
· A degree in structural engineering, mechanical engineering, architecture, architectural technology, product design, or a related field.
· Experience in one or more of the following areas: conceptual design, façade detailing, structural analysis, cladding design, structural glass design, building envelope physics, or façade systems.
· Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach to project delivery.
