About this role
This position is to provide assistance to the Environment team in Canberra in order to deliver work as part of the current and future Environment and Resources pipeline. Reporting to the Environment Team Lead, this role would primarily support both Canberra and Sydney Environment team to carry out environmental assessments for various projects.

What will I do?

  • Work with minimal supervision in your area of responsibility
  • Be accountable for defined parts of design projects.
  • Be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of your work.
  • Represent your team or area at internal meetings
  • May be responsible for organising events, activities or small internal business projects

What will I bring?

  • Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in science or environment or similar area.
  • Relevant industry experience (minimum 2-3 years) in environment impact assessment within a consulting business environment.
  • Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
  • Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines.
  • Effective written communication and report writing skills.
