Engineering Technician – Transportation

 

Qualifications/ Experience
We are seeking suitably qualified personnel for a wide range of challenging transportation projects. Key qualifications/experience include the following:

  • Experience using AutoCAD;

  • Experience using GIS and / or similar geospatial software;

  • Experience in the preparation of civil engineering drawings;

  • Urban Street Design (including a good understanding of the Design Manual for Urban Roads and Streets, The Traffic Signs Manual, the National Cycle Manual etc..);

  • A team player with the ability to meet deadlines;

  • 1-2-years’ experience would be benefical.

 

Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Work as part of an integrated engineering team supporting our clients project. 

  • Produce traffic management drawings including alignment drawings;

  • Produce detailed civil engineering drawings to support our street improvement schemes;
