The Opportunity
- Attend site and co-ordination meetings, and provide on-site responses to contractors’ technical queries
- Carry out duties in all aspects of supervision of building services, work on site within the contracts and the maintenance of site records and/ or conduct design coordination
- Comment and monitor the installation programme, submission schedule, T&C related documents submitted by contractors
- Inspect, supervise and monitor the material and workmanship quality to ensure that it is up to contract requirements and Hong Kong legislations
- Witness and report the acceptance of T&C
- Review, validate, provide comments and endorse the T&C reports, shop drawings, materials, samples, method statements, etc. submitted from the Contractor and arrange necessary rectification works
- Assist in resolving site/construction problems and conflicts among various trades in relation to building services matters and overall construction process
- Assist Client and Head Office for handover of the completed work to project owners
- Check and update the daily labour strength and works activities on site
- Provide the outstanding and defect list and report the progress of completion of outstanding works & rectification of defects
- Monitor the progress of works and provide site progress reports, and assist the client and Head Office/ Resident Building Services Engineer on assessment of Contractor’s claim for extension of time or works disruption on building services aspects
- Assist the client and Head Office/ Resident Building Services Engineer in vetting of the building services variation works
- Regular reporting to Head Office and support preparation to the Project Engineer / Project Manager/ Resident Building Services Engineer in reporting of site progress
- Any other services as required by the client and Head Office for execution of the services

Is this role right for you?
- Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services Engineering or related discipline
- Not less than 6 years of relevant working experience including 3 years’ on-site experience in supervision of Electrical, Mechanical and Building Services construction works.
- 3 years of relevant post-qualification local experience for Resident Assistant Building Services Inspector
- Registered electrical worker will be preferable
