The Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled student assistant studying electrical engineering, who wants to be part of a close-knit MEP team of 8 engineers passionate about shaping a better world. At Arup, you will get ample opportunity for learning and developing while working on innovative and sustainable projects. You will take an active role in all phases of our interdisciplinary projects for private and public clients in Denmark and internationally.

As an Electrical Engineer at Arup, you will be responsible for:        

  • Support modelling and analysis, production of designs and design calculations, and reporting of complex engineering problems, and challenge the results to optimise a solution

  • Help shape our implementation of our digital agenda and drive the automation of our design services;

  • Assist in the preparation of specifications, proposals, and other documentation under supervision

  • Collaborate with, and learn from, a young and diverse team, while connecting with global experts from across the company

  • Increase your exposure in the global industry by working with a company regularly recognized as an industry leader.  

Does this role inspire you?      

We're looking for a student who is passionate about Electrical Engineering and is eager to make a meaningful impact. Furthermore, we value if:

  • You are on your 1st or 2nd semester of your master's degree in electrical engineering

  • You have an ambitious digital profile, desirably with an interest to learn 3D modelling using Revit, Rhino and/or similar.

  • You have good communications skills, verbally and written in English. Proficiency in Danish or any other Scandinavian language is beneficial. You will be working in a dynamic and international environment.

  • You are solution oriented and can work independently.

  • Previous experience in the relevant field would be beneficial but is not essential.

  • You have a passion for sustainable development.
