Operators must ensure the longevity, efficiency, and sustainability of their sites while optimizing them for mission-critical tasks. Arup’s international and multidisciplinary team in Frankfurt is at the forefront of designing innovative and energy-efficient data centres, ensuring that our clients meet their goals of performance, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.
Join our international and multidisciplinary team of passionate design engineers and help us create high-quality, sustainable, and innovative data centre structures. You will work on medium to large-scale mission-critical projects, covering all stages of design — from concept to construction supervision and handover.
As an Electrical Engineer - Data Centre at Arup, you will:
- As part of an interdisciplinary team of architects, advisors & engineers you will work alongside other experts.
- Own the design of MV, LV and ELV packages trough all design stages from Concept to Construction Supervision and Hand-Over
- Coordinate with other internal and external project stakeholders including other disciplines, authorities, public service providers and international clients
- Present Design packages to clients, contractors and authorities
Does this role inspire you?
We are looking for someone passionate about sustainable data centre design and who possesses:
- University Degree in Electrical Design or equivalent
- Ideally first working experience as in electrical design
- Knowledge of relevant German codes
- Experience with 3D BIM software - Revit MEP
- Knowledge in relevant German codes and Industry standards
- Passionate for quality, sustainability, and innovation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working
- Very good written and spoken English skills and ideally German
