This may take the form of undertaking relevant modelling, analytical research, and design work within your relevant business area. The Opportunity

• Hands on concept and detailed Electrical design for a range of projects, in a lead discipline engineer role and provide design calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Facilitate and co-ordinate design activities, processes and other technical standards within the MEP team including the review and monitoring of technical standards in the team to ensure that design techniques, design review and check, reference material and software tools are up-to-date and are correctly applied.
• Undertake technical reviews of MEP projects (and MEP team input provided to other projects) at appropriate stages to ensure that the project approach and deliverables.
• Be part of a team that effectively wins and undertakes projects across the MEP and Buildings market within Malaysia.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with industry networks, clients, government agencies, sub-consultants and construction contractors relevant to the MEP team’s activities.

Is this role right for you?

• Recognized relevant tertiary qualifications in Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of detailed electrical design experience with an engineering consultancy.
• Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
• Has achieved a professional qualification in relevant area of expertise.
• Good working knowledge of relevant local and international legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines.
• Having Data Centre design experience is an added advantage.
