We are seeking a Data Privacy Manager to drive data privacy strategy and compliance across our Asia Pacific (APAC) region. This role offers the opportunity to lead transformational initiatives, embed a culture of Privacy by Design, and shape our data privacy framework in alignment with global best practices.

As a key thought leader and agent of change, you will help redefine how we assess risks, seize opportunities, and enhance operational excellence—all while upholding our core values of being a humane organisation, striving for quality, and ensuring reasonable prosperity

  • Lead and elevate data privacy risk management across the APAC region, initially focusing on Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore, with scope for the role to expand across the broader APAC footprint.
  • Conduct Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and champion the Privacy by Design framework.
  • Develop and maintain privacy policies, notices, and guidance materials to meet legislative and best-practice requirements.
    Implement and enhance our global data privacy management framework at the regional level.
  • Drive global and regional data privacy transformation initiatives, ensuring best-in-class privacy management processes.
  • Stay ahead of evolving privacy standards (e.g., ISO 27001 and ISO 31700) and ensure alignment with international best practices.
  • Monitor legislative changes and proactively implement necessary adaptations.


Is this role right for you?
We’re looking for an experienced data privacy leader manager who brings:

  • 5+ years of proven experience managing data privacy in a complex organisation.
  • Deep knowledge of data privacy laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Membership or eligibility for relevant professional institutions or industry peer bodies.
  • Experience in engineering consultancy, construction, mining, the built environment, or infrastructure development is desirable but not essential.
