We are currently seeking a Data Center Design Manager to provide data center project delivery and leadership capability and assist Regional Science, Industry and Technology business leadership in the growing data center sector.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the effective and efficient delivery of data center projects, managing the performance of the technical team consisting of both internal and external project team resources, in full compliance with corporate standards
  • Handling client expectations and building client relationships
  • Assist in defining project schedules, staffing, and cost targets
  • Identify and handle project risks
  • Delivering work to a high standard of quality, client satisfaction and profitability
  • Assist Americas Science, Industry and Technology leadership in developing data center business regionally, finding opportunities with current and new clients, developing client relationships and leading major bids

Qualifications

  • 10 or more years in the delivery of data centers and mission-critical facilities
  • Demonstrable project management experience having successfully led multidisciplinary teams on design and/or construction of building and/or infrastructure projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering
  • Professional Engineering License or ability to obtain this within one year of joining Arup preferred
  • Ability to travel and work on virtual teams across the region

Hiring Range: The good faith base salary hiring range for this job performed in California is $125,000 and $195,000. Benefits are not included in the base salary range. Summary of benefits are included in this posting with details provided to applicants at the time of interview. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of California will differ.
