We aim at delivering technical consultancy to developers, financiers, governments, councils and other relevant bodies on the development of low-carbon, climate change and sustainability solutions in the East Asia region from front end project development to project planning and design.
Responsibilities:
- Manage smart city related projects at both initial design and implementation stage, e.g. developing smart city frameworks and strategies, integrating and collating different smart city solutions of various domains (e.g. building, energy, water, waste and transport) to fit into specific development from building, precinct to district level, preparing design schemes and technical specifications for tendering
- Support business development of smart city at advisory and engineering level
- Work closely with various subject matter specialists and domain experts on implementation and management of different smart city strategies and applications
- Be the interface coordinator with clients from both public and private sectors, technology suppliers and other utilities
- Occasional business travel as and when required
Qualifications & Experience required:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science / Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related disciplines
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Corporate or Associate member of relevant professional institution(s)
- With GIS, BIM, digital platform and programming experiences along with cross-disciplinary knowledge in the built environment sector will be an advantage
- With relevant experience in tackling multidisciplinary consultancy or service projects that cross the boundaries between the traditional engineering and other disciplines, such as IT, urban planning, and engineering
- Good understanding and knowledge of Information & Communication Technology (ICT), Internet of things (IoT) and Green Technology industries is a plus
- Passionate in developing a future smart city enabled by technology is a key requirement
- Excellent interpersonal skills and very strong communication skills across different disciplines
- Strong research and organizational skills, able to set priority and multitask
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
Candidates with more experience will be considered as Project Consultant / Senior Consultant.
