The Opportunity
This role is crucial for supporting the Infrastructure Team in managing ongoing and potential major project bids, ensuring successful project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction. The ideal candidate is also expected to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and managing complex infrastructure projects
Will be working with the Infrastructure team based in Manila and across the Region, and external partners/clients whenever required.

Your role in our team
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with development partners, government agencies, and private sector stakeholders.
- Provide transaction advisory, bid management, and project finance services to the team.
- Draft and manage contracts, including consultancy, works, supply, and PPP agreements and ensure compliance with procurement guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct market research and policy analysis to support business development initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and public relations campaigns.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the infrastructure and development sectors, specially on rail.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members.
Is this role right for you?
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Engineering or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in procurement, project management or business development in the infrastructure sector, preferably in railways and transportation projects.
- Experience working with international development partners (e.g., ADB, JICA) and government agencies
- Strong understanding of PPP frameworks and procurement guidelines.
- Excellent technical writing, policy research, and public relations skills.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and project finance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel to other Arup offices in the East Asia / Southeast Asia or other Regions when required to enhance experience and skills.
