Our Communication team in Madrid plays a key role in supporting the company's activities and objectives through communication strategies. By effectively transmitting Arup’s ideas, projects, and values, they strengthen the brand’s image, improving both internal and external communications.
The Opportunity
This is your chance to be part to get hands-on experience in the communication department and work alongside specialists within our team in Madrid´s office. This traineeship offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of projects, developing your skills and building your portfolio while making a real impact on how we communicate our work.
As a Communications Trainee at Arup, you will:
- Participate in the Internal communication: writing content for internal channels, both in English and Spanish, collaborate in Press clipping and providing support in internal campaigns.
- Get involved in the external communication: writing content, updating current information on Arup.com, providing support in planning and creating content on social networks and establishing good relationships with media agencies.
Does this role inspire you?
We are looking to incorporate a student in the internal Communication Department. The ideal profile would be a curious and creative person that is interested in developing their career in the communication department.
- Current enrolment in a degree or master in corporate communication, information sciences and/or public relations.
- Autonomy and the ability to organize and plan the agreed tasks.
- The ability to control times and workload to prioritize and meet delivery dates.
- The capacity to generate ideas and actions and carry them out under minimal supervision.
- The sensitivity to other´s work, knowing how to prioritize and try to accommodate them.
- The aptitude of reviewing the work done, ensuring that it is well done and that it meets the quality standard.
- High level of spoken and written English and Spanish skills
Conditions
- Be enrolled in the university to be able to establish an agreement with the University
- Immediate incorporation
- Duration: 6 months of extendable internship (possibility of joining after completing the internship)
- Schedule: From 20 to 40 hours per week to be defined with the student
- Remuneration: will depend on the student's level of training and the number of hours established.
