We are looking to add you to our New York Office Civil Engineering team. Our team works on a wide range of projects including, Little Island, Hunter’s Point South, and all local major airports. We are passionate about creating unique solutions that help solve some of our clients’ toughest problems.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Perform general site civil including roadway and utilities design tasks, horizontal & vertical alignments, swept path analysis, pavement design, drainage, grading, utilities, regulatory approvals, construction staging, signage and line marking
  • Prepare and review drawings ranging from feasibility studies to detailed design and construction documents
  • Build 3D models in a BIM design environment and perform design optimizations, quantity evaluations and clash detections
  • Carry out site assessments and develop roadway and utilities servicing design schemes for new construction or renewal works
  • Assisting senior staff on a variety of projects such as Aviation, Transportation, Site Development, Buildings and Data Centers
  • Coordinating with multiple disciplines, working in conjunction with project managers to help complete work you're doing
  • Writing reports for internal and external purposes based on findings
  • Presenting technical material in traditional and innovative ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Proven experience in Civil Engineering design and construction
  • Experience using Civil 3D, Microstation, InRoads, InfoWorks, and hydraulic modelling tools.
  • Experience designing sustainable infrastructure systems
  • Ability to work prioritize effectively, manage work and exceptional organization skills required for our constantly evolving environment;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working
  • Presentation skills with colleagues and clients of all levels
