The role
This is an exciting opportunity to join teams delivering major infrastructure and water projects in India and the Middle East. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and 3D surface models, supporting engineers and project managers throughout the project lifecycle. Your expertise in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS will be critical to the success of our design and construction teams.
Responsibilities would include but are not limited to
· Technical Drawing and Modelling
o Create, modify, and manage 2D and 3D drawings and surface models for civil engineering projects using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS software.
o Develop detailed design drawings, layouts, and as-built documentation for water supply, wastewater, and infrastructure projects.
o Generate digital terrain models, grading plans, and surface analyses to support engineering design and construction.
o Collaborate with engineers to interpret design requirements and translate them into accurate technical drawings and models.
o Ensure all drawings and models comply with company and client standards, and are properly documented and archived.
· Collaboration & Project Support
o Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate design inputs and resolve technical issues.
o Support project managers and engineers by providing timely updates and revisions to drawings and models as project requirements evolve.
o Participate in design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of modeling and drafting processes.
· Quality, Compliance & Innovation
o Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
o Ensure compliance with internal and client CAD standards, data management protocols, and best practices.
o Stay updated with the latest features and workflows in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS, and share knowledge with team members
Skills and Qualifications
· Degree or diploma in civil engineering, geomatics, or a related field.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in technical drawing and 3D modelling for civil infrastructure projects.
· Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS software (such as ArcGIS or QGIS).
· Experience with digital terrain modelling, surface creation, and data integration from various sources.
· Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
· Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to evolving project needs.
