About this role
Do you find purpose in connecting the digital with the physical world? In this role, you will use your digital skills to create critical infrastructure from life-saving hospitals to resilient highways. Every day you will have the opportunity to push BIM boundaries and create new possibilities for our clients. With access to a global community of CAD champions, you will collaborate with and learn from other digitally-driven minds.


What will I do?

  • Prepare and check CAD models during design development, detailed design, and production of construction drawings
  • Assist Structural and Civil Engineers and BIM/CAD Manager in preparation of project documentation and 2D detailed drawings from models, ensuring quality and presentation meet Client and Arup standard requirements
  • Ensure project deadlines are met and all necessary internal checks of own work and others work are carried out before project documentation is issued to the client
  • Contribute to the development of good practices within own discipline through involvement in Arup’s skills network
  • You will represent your team or area at internal meetings and organise events, activities or small internal business projects.


What will I bring?

  • Minimum certificate, Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent; 
  • At least 2 to 5 years of experience in CAD modelling 
  • Experienced in using CAD Software. Knowledge in BIM will be an advantage. 
  • Ability to maintain personal effectiveness particularly during periods of higher than normal workload.  
  • Excellent attention to detail and have desire to excel.
