CAD/BIM Technician (MEP)

The CAD Technician will provide technical drafting support for Hydraulic and Public Health services, including sanitary plumbing, cold water, and mechanical systems. This role ensures accurate design documentation and coordination with engineers to deliver high-quality project outputs and supports a robust pipeline of commercial and residential building services projects, ensuring timely and billable delivery of design packages.
The Opportunity
• Prepare CAD drawings for hydraulic and public health systems using AutoCAD.
• Assist engineers in design development, revisions, and project documentation.
• Maintain drawing standards and ensure compliance with company and industry codes.
• Support project delivery by producing accurate layouts, schematics, and details.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and achieve billability targets.

Is this role right for you?
• Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Atleast 2 years of experience working in CAD and requires proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Knowledge of Autodesk Revit (advantageous), willing to learn Revit software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to be based in Penang, Malaysia.
