The primary focus of this role is to deliver essential business support, ensuring smooth operations across various functions. This includes providing administration assistance for projects, client relationship management systems, and the wider groups and teams  .


The Opportunity

  • Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to Group leaders, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and support for industry events and training.
  • Assist with project setup, ongoing administration, financial forecasting, and client invoice generation.
  • Manage client relationship systems, coordinate interviews for vacation students and graduates, and support team events, meetings, and workshops.
  • Act as a Health and Safety representative, such as a first aider or fire warden
  • Produce and format documents, generate monthly reports, and maintain data integrity in project SharePoint sites.


Is this role right for you?

  • Relevant industry experience in administration within a consulting/engineering/built environment business
  • Good understanding of processes, guidelines and job instructions, with some knowledge on of nuances and ambiguities
  • Intermediate knowledge of Arup systems and able to train and help others
  • Foundational awareness of health and safety best practice.
  • Able to identify HSE risks, breaches or specific needs and follow internal processes to rectify.
