 ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for assigned companies.
  • Perform daily accounting operations including data input and journal preparation.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, bank accounts, and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare monthly prepayment/deposit and accrual journals.
  • Record and maintain the fixed assets and depreciation accounts.
  • Assist with the monthly and year-end close processes.
  • Maintain proper and systematic e-filing system.
  • Assist in year-end audit related matters.
  • Support the UAT and implementation of future global finance systems and automation.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
  • At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably from MNCs.
  • Good knowledge and experience in using JD Edwards, Blackline and/or other ERP accounting systems.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
  • Deep analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to details and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently using own initiative and as part of the team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
