BIM Electrical Technician

The Opportunity

We are seeking a BIM Electrical Technician for our Istanbul Office to strengthen our Electrical Team for local and international projects.

As a BIM Electrical Technician at Arup, you will:

• You will be required to deliver projects to the required technical standards in a timely manner, reporting to the team leader or project manager as appropriate,
• The ideal candidate will have Revit MEP and 3D working experience and you will be responsible for drawing production processes. You will be provided with training in relevant software as required and work closely with senior members of staff for guidance,
• Work in vibrant team delivering sustainable electrical solutions on complex projects at various stages of development from planning, appraisal and environmental evaluation to detailed design and construction,
• You will prepare 3D drawings to support technical designs for projects, in accordance with approved standards.
• Implement the appropriate QA-procedures for all deliverables,
• Communicate effectively and in a team environment with colleagues, project managers and the other internal design disciplines.

We also value:

• Graduated from a Vocational High School in Electrical/Electronics; preferably holds a degree as an Electrical Technician and/or an Electrical Associate Degree,
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar design projects related to Low Voltage and Weak Current electrical installations in buildings,
• Proficient in BIM software, especially Revit MEP, with advanced skills in MS Office and AutoCAD,
• Ability to produce drawings in coordination with electrical, mechanical, construction, and architectural disciplines,
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English,
• Military service completed (for male candidates),
• Disciplined and able to work well in a team.
