The Opportunity

This role specializes in BIM for Infrastructure Engineering, where you will lead the delivery of high-quality technical drawings, BIM models, and documentation. In this role, you’ll take ownership of coordination across disciplines, enforce BIM standards and SOPs within a Common Data Environment, and ensure timely, accurate deliverables while supporting project leadership.

  • Undertake technical drawing production and modelling activities for the team
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of work in accordance with Arup and project standards, while meeting set deadlines
  • Lead juniors in delivering modelling work on defined tasks or projects with limited supervision.
  • Provide modelling and coordination input at any stage of a project, supporting senior team members and ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Understand and implement Arup’s BIM Strategy across all projects

Is this role right for you?

  • Possess a recognized qualification in engineering, design, drafting, Building Information Modeling (BIM), or a related field.
  • 4-8 years of industry experience, contributing to more complex projects and demonstrating competence in both technical drawing production and BIM modeling.
  • Competent Skills and experience in the following applications: AutoCAD, Civil3D,Revit, or Navisworks.
  • Competent in using two or more of the listed applications (Tekla, Solibri, Clarity, ACC/BIM360, Rhino & Grasshopper, Trimble Connect, and BCFcollaboration), applying them effectively in relevant tasks and workflows
  • Confidently utilizes BIM standards, protocols, and coordination strategies in projects, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
